Gen Brown

Dear Sir

Some weeks ago I gave an account of hauling that I did for the Government to Lt Howell here at this place to send to you for settlement and he has heard nothing from it. I would be very much obliged to you if you would let hear from it.

I can prove that I did hauling for the Government while Lt Bufford was in office here and I am willing to swear to the amount I sent in. I have waited a long time for the money and I would be very glad to get it. I understand all the others who did hauling about the same time have received their pay.

I am Respectfully Yours
T.I. Green, [?]
