Lt,
   Immediately upon return of within communication with endorssement, I met B. Edwards before witnesses, made proposition for arbitration, to which he agreed.  last saturday was fixed upon, but the parties were unwell and it was decided that they should meet to day knowing the man Edwards I made enquiry and found that the nam he has chosen, Wm Prant is the same who drew up the contract and is a sworn friend through all weather of Edwards.  E. character is so well known that Hill can get no man, in whom he can confide to meddle with the case.  It is hardly probably that every man except Edwards' sworn friends will touch the case.  I submit that a man who had the face to draw up such a Contract as this, is unfit as a judge in this matter at least.  Hill being, unable to find a man Edwards having chosen such a man, there is no hope for justice in the course and I respectfully urge that a Mil Comn be ordered to investigate this case.
   Hill is out $200.00 worth of corn besides damages sustained, if statements of reliable
