In Hanover County Court July 29" 1868.

Nat Hanes and Absalom Terrill Defts

Pet. Upon an attachment granted by a Justice of the Peace.

The Plaintiff having an attachment against the estate of the Defendants who have privately removed out of the County or absconds or conceals themselves so that the ordinary process of law cannot be served on them for forty five dollars for sent of a certain messuage and tenement in said county for the year 1868 due the first day of January 1869. John N. Williams a Constable of said county having made a return that he executes the said attachment on a lot of oats supposed to be thirty six hundred pounds.

This day came the Plaintiff by his attorney and the Defendant being solemnly called and failing to [[strikethrough]] appear [[/strikethrough]] replevy the said oats, Therefore it is considered by the court that the Plaintiff recover against the Defendants the said sum of Forty five Dollars and his costs by him [[strikethrough]] 
as this [[strikethrough]] be half expended, It is ordered that the said Constable make sale of the attached effects aforesaid by him so attached upon the following terms upon a credit this the first day of January 1869 taking from the purchaser a bond with good and sufficient security. And out of the proceeds of such sale satisfy this judgment and return the surplus over if any to the Defendants and return account [[strikethrough]] sales [[/strikethrough]] of such sale to this court.
