Case No 2! An aged Colored man name Henry Green (80 years old) lodged a complaint before the A.S.A.C. Ira Ayer Jr. in which the following facts were elicited. This Octogenerian colored man bought himself a cow for which he paid Forty ($40.00) dollars; the cow is appears left the premises of the old man and straggled into an old field of an F.F.C. named Doctor Carter, and grazed upon his crab grass. This was more than the enraged Virginian could stand, that a colored man's cow should graze in his old field. why he might be called a radical. He immediately went before a J.P. took out a warrant for the cow, had her arrested and brought before the J.P. damages assessed and the cow worth $40.00 dollars sold for $9.00 dollars and is supposed to have been purchases by the man making the complaint the J.P. issuing the warrant on the constable executing
