In compliance with Circular No.16 dated Bureau R.F and A.L. Head Quarters Asst Comr.,Dist. of Va. Richmond Va., Aug. 6th, 1868. I have the honor to state that the leave of absence granted me in extract of Special Orders No.117 dated Bureau R.F. and A.L. Head Quarters Asst. Comr., Dist. of Va., Sept. 28th 1868, I availed myself of October 1st. The time for which the same was granted having expired I this day again resume the duties of my office. I inadvertently failed to report this day of departure.
