General Brown 
Dear sir i have not heard any thing of Mr Dunns decission  i should be glad to hear what his decission was, for he was at Hixford the 2nd Sept and stated to me that he was satisfied my statements were correct, 

my witnesses were present and proved that Mr Barham was warned in due time not to ocupy the place, he recd my letter 3rd Febr that he nor no other man could have it for i was going to ocupy the place myeself. this thing was proved to the satisfaction of Capt. Dunn, who told me that i should hear from him through the Shff and all i heard from the shff was to meet him on Monday
