The communication of Lieut. E. Murphy, Asst. Supt. dated 24th October forwarded by you Oct. 30th for information regarding certain pieces of property in Accomac County, was duly received.

The property of John b. Jones and George D. Wise has been restored, you will drop them from your next Land Report.

I enclose official extract from a letter from Capt. W. P. Austin, dated 22nd June 1866, which contains all the information we can give regarding the other property. If you desire further information Captain Austin may probably be able to furnish it.
