Supt. 4th Dist.

Major,
Your report of Lands for November has been received. You will drop the lands of William Beans and Nathan Gregg, situated in Loudoun County, Va. from your report, they being restored by the enclosed Special Orders (unnumbered) dated 15th Sept. 1865 from Bureau Head Quarters.

A tract of land belonging to Francis Mason containing 1000 acres, has not been reported on by Bvt. Capt. S.B. Smith, nor does it appear on your land report. The same remarks apply to a tract of land, number of acres not states, belonging to Richard Marlow. These tracts appear on the report sent to Capt. Smith, with instructions to examine each piece therein named.

Copy of Cir No. 1. Land Division, Bureau R.F. & A. Lands, dated July 22nd 1865, under which these lands were taken possession of by this Bureau, is enclosed for your information.

Have the missing tracts looked up and reported.

I am Major
Very Respectfully
