Brown Richmond, Va., General:- In compliance with Cir: No. 1 dated Hd. Qrs. Asst. Com'r. Dist: of Va., Feby 26th 1868. I have the honor to report that W. S. Chase is the only Asst. Sub Asst: Com'r. who has charge of more than one county in this Sub. Dist:. He has reported to me that he has fixed upon the third Monday in each month (Court day) to be at Fairfax, C. H., the following Tuesday at Vienna; and the first Monday in each month (Court day) at Brentsville. Pr William Co. Va. - the remainder of his time at his office at Manassas. unsure of initials of Bvt Lt Col See - hmm, it might be Lee not See. There is an S.R. Lee on the staff roster, but he looks to be an education supt. This person might be S.P. Lee.
