Colonel:
Excuse me for calling your attention to the application of R. H. Dulaney asking assistance of the Bureau in building a school-house for the colored people returned to your office May 27th 1868 I am anxious that this money be forthcoming that the building may be completed early in the coming autumn

Mr Dulaney is quite earnest in this enterprise and I feel that there is too much to be gained by his cooperation to allow this opportunity to pass unimproved

I am Col., Very Respectfully
