I have the honor to state that the Industrial School in Alexandria closed on the fifteenth of this Month and I would respectfully request authority to issue the articles of clothing remaining on hand to the most destitute. We have received a great many applications for relief of this kind. 

The following is a list of the articles on hand. 

78 large chemises | 75 small dresses
160 large dresses | 57 large petticoats
32 pairs pants    | 55 sacks  22 shirts
