Hd Qr Sub District Lynchburg Sept 6/68 I concur with Capt Lacy in the policy of removing the colored school from Camp Schofield into the city for two reasons, particularly. 1st because the present place is an inconvenient distance from the scholars scattered over the City and 2d if the school can be got into the City in one of the church buildings this will pave the way for the ultimate establishment of the school by the colored people & their friends connected with such church Very Respectfully O.
