The Branch of the Freedmens Savings and Trust Company located in this City, under the Efficient Management of H. C. Percy [[E?]] Cash'r, has during the past quarter increased its deposits to the number of 1425, of which 550 have been added since October last. The account now on deposit is about $45.00 total deposit from date of opening about $225.000, largest single deposit $1240, average monthly deposit for last five months $13.000 average gain of deposits and drafts per month $2000, the institution has I think the full confidence of the Freedmen

Nothing has been done in the Taylor Farm Case during the past Quarter, except as upon former occasions to refer Mr Taylor to the Civil Authorities for a remedy against the Squatters upon his Farm and to say to impress upon the Freedmen the illegality of their present occupancy of the Estate and the precariousness of their tenure of the Same.

The Records of this Division. Since the Master out of Lieut Ed. Murphy have been merged with more of the Sub Dist. and are kept in the same Books, as it was found impracticable to keep separate sets of Records. They are kept in accordance with the requirement of the Manual.
