Requests interposition of the Commr. in behalf of Sarah Johnson, a colored school teacher, who alleges that Major Hopkins at Gordonsville has in his hands, amount appropriated for support of her school and that notwithstanding she has forwarded blank vouchers signed as directed by Major Hopkins and the fact that himself and Sarah have several times written to him, the money has not been received nor has Maj. Hopkins been heard from. Encloses letter from Maj. Hopkins
