I have reported all the facts once before she has no claim on the Bureau. I did not recommend that any appropriation be made for her because I was satisfied she did not deserve any. But since it has been directed to be made I have tried to get it for her in the usual way. She would have had a check from Maj. White long ago had she signed his vouchers. I know her to be unworthy of any appropriation and I hope even if she ever concludes to sign the vouchers that no money will be thrown away on her. Marcus S. Hopkins A.S.A.C. 1st & 3d Dns. 4th S.D.
