Maj J.R. Stone
S.A. Comr.
Sir: -
There are times when I deem it important to step over the boundary of my Divn. to be absent perhaps 24 hours at times. and I have the honor, respectfully to request the Asst. Comr. to allow
me to do so until after Election, not that I will interfere in the affairs of another, but I think there are times and places especially (Nottoway Co. and Richmond) when my presence would be beneficial rather than otherwise.
Very Respectfully
Your Obt. Servt.
