secure another place in this neighborhood where she would be able to support her Children by her labor, her only resource, and if Mr Crawford should discharge her, as he contemplates, in order to secure another servant without such incumbrance, she might (would) be left entirely, or at least partially dependent on the Government for support. 

- Her husband has promised to furnish her with sufficient funds to pay her car fare to Springfield, O. but has not yet done so, if however, she should receive it, in my opinion, she ought to retain the same to meet any exigency that might arise while enroute, for, on account of her age, ignorance and inexperience in traveling she might meet with some unforseen trouble, or delay enroute.

If the Bureau conclude to furnish her the necessary transportation, I would respectfully suggest that she be started by Stage from Mt Sidney to Winchester, thence by Railroad to Springfield via Columbus & London.
