I have the honor to make application for authority to rent of A.C. Burbank a house [[Strikethrough]] inhabited [[/Strikethrough]] located in Lawrencevill Va containing two rooms, one 18 x 18 & the other 12 x 18 ft. and warmed by fire-places, at the rate of forty dollars per month, to date from Nov 1st 1868 till June 30th 1869, if desired, to be used as a Freedmen's School House. A colored school is now in session at this place, which would occupy said building, with an average attendence of one hundred (100) pupils.
