Dear Sir:

Your kind favor of the 25th is rec'd.  I have no hesitation in saying that I can obtain the required average of twenty scholars.  We have now fourteen in regular attendance & had no more simply because it was impossible to take them, a sufficient number having applied to us to increase the amt. to thirty & more.  My sister has all summer turned away urgent applicants on account of ill-health, since I came I have
