immediate removal of the freedmen, to be, that she could not collect the rents; that the freedmen refused to pay her, not believing the land to be restored to her; that she did not intend to cultivate the land, herself, and should probably rent the land to somebody, and she finally agreed to rent the land to the freedmen, but would not at that time, state her terms, saying she wished to consult her Agent, and would communicate, through him to Capt. Wilder, the terms.

To my knowledge no such communication was ever made to Capt. Wilder.
