Capt
I have the honor to ask permission to rent a building of one room to be used as a School building at Cedar Hill Wythe Co. of Westly Thompson for $15 00/100 per month to commence Oct. 1st 1868. More than twenty five Scholars can be enrolled. I can get a teacher here to take it at once provided he can get the amount I ask viz: $15 00/100 a month which will enable him to pay the rent. Fuel &c. The community are poor and can but few pay. If this rent is allowed I will see that no Children are excluded on account of poverty.
