I regret exceedingly your decision to "give up your claim to the institution." I had supposed that you agreed with Mr. Crenshaw and myself in believing that the "Orphans" would be better cared for until Spring in a hired building, than in the new building even it it should be completed as was expected in December. If your decision is irrevocable please so inform me, as the question of a house must be settled at once. Regretting that I have misunderstood you in the matter, and with sincere gratitude for the care and kindness manifested by you, towards the helpless ones under your charge.
