Comr you will expend the sum of fifteen (15) dollars per month, commencing Oct. 1, 1868, for rent of the first story (containing two rooms), of the Brick building, N.W. corner 17th and Richard Str., in this City, to be used for the purposes of a Freedmens School. The building belongs to James L. Capston, residence 43 Franklin Str, Corner 3rd. This expenditure is based upon an application of R.M. Manly, Supt.
