will expend the sum of One hundred and fifty (150) Dollars in repairs upon the Freedmen's School House situated at "Bethany Seats" near Charles Morris, on the Mountain road about 18 miles from Ashland, Va.

This expenditure is based upon an application of Ira Ayer, Jr. A.S.A. Comr. of December 21st 1868, on file in this office.

Comr. to inform you that the Inspector of this Bureau has recommended the stoppage of your final pay, for services in this Bureau, until the settlement of the note held against you by Ewell Graham amounting to $59.45/100, for money drawn by you from the "Freedmen's Sav. Bank" in Baltimore on his account.

An order on Bvt. Maj. Geo Q. White to pay the amount, will be accepted.
