KITCHEN MISS LOUISE GROODY MISS MARIE DRESSLER FRED ASTAIRE December 21, 1932 Mr. Germain Seligman, 3 East 51st Street New York City Dear Mr. Seligman: The Casino Town Club has obtained the residence at number Nine West 52nd Street, New York City, as its new home. The Club is cosmopolitan and exclusive. Its members are chosen from those who have achieved a place in their particular world - artistic, social or business. The unusual decorations have been accomplished by William Lawrence Bottomley in association with Anne Tiffany. We feel justified in opening the Club with extremely moderate rates prevailing throughout as an answer to the need now for a suitable place to secure relaxation and diversion. Luncheon, Tea, Dinner and Supper will be served. Rooms for Bridge and private parties will be available and may be reserved for receptions, dinners, and small dancing parties. Your name has been proposed and passed upon by our Membership Committee and we extend a cordial invitation to become a member. A fee of Ten Dollars admits one to membership. Checks are payable to the Casino Town Club and should be posted at your earliest convenience. Members are entitled to bring guests. Further information may be had by writing to the above address. Sincerely yours, CASINO TOWN CLUB Frederick H. Bloomer President. FB/LC
