April 26, 1933.

Mr. Germain Seligman,
3 East 51st Street,
New York City.

Dear Mr. Seligman:

It gives me much pleasure to send you this announcement of the opening on a permanent basis of the Westchester Embassy Club, and to invite you to membership, subject to confirmation by the committee.

It is the confident purpose of the management to establish and maintain the Westchester Embassy Club as the most desirable and elite Club-resort in America in point of membership, recreation, entertainment, cuisine and service.

The magnificent facilities of the Westchester Embassy Club at Armonk, in the picturesque hills of Westchester County, including a splendid eighteen-hole golf course, outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, stable of riding horses, outdoor and indoor dining and dancing, as well as winter sports, all under competent direction, will leave little to be desired by even the most discriminating of members.

A limited number of original restricted memberships for 1933 are being offered as set forth in the enclosed announcement, and I am sure the advantages of these memberships will be obvious to you.

In inviting your membership, I feel that you need no reassurance as to the character of management, under the famous "Jack and Charlie", supplementing which, for the promotion and development of activities, the club will have my services, supported by an able Board of Governors as set forth in the enclosed brochure.

The eager response with which initial invitations have been met prompts me to urge your early reply to avoid the contingency of exclusion from these classes of memberships by necessary limitation of their number.

Cordially yours,

Francis T. Hunter
Chairman, Membership Committee
