April 22nd., 1935.

Dear Séligmann:

Following the instructions in your letter of April 18th., we have shipped to Miss Roullier, the SEURAT"EIFFEL TOWER". The picture left our galleries on Friday night, by American Railway Express, and undoubtedly will reach Chicago before you arrive there. So that you will be fully posted, I am enclosing a copy of the consignment invoice.

PHOTOGRAHS: Photographs of all of the pictures mentioned in your letter, with the exception of the Demotte Tiepolos - which are herewith enclosed, were posted on Saturday evening. They were sent by Parcel Post, insured, and addressed to you at the Lake Shore Drive Hotel, marked "Hold for Arrival". The number of the insruance [[insurance]] receipt is - 281847 - should they by any chance not be there when you arrive, having this number might enable you to trace them.

Descriptions are pasted on the backs of the photographs, and herewith enclosed you will find two lists - one of which has the selling prices, and the other, both the consignment or cost prices as well as the selling prices.

In addition to those you mentioned, photographs have been sent of the Largillier, the Morland portrait, the Chantreau and the Honthorst.

INVITIATIONS: I am including in this letter copy of a note from Mrs. Halla, inviting you to a luncheon in Chappaqua on May 12th., and likewise a copy of acknowledgement of same, saying that you are out of town.

Mrs. A. Rick telephoned on Saturday morning saying that she wanted to invite you to dinner with a great friend of your's, Mr. Javal. I explained that you would not be back until the end of this week, and she said she would not be back until the end of this week and she said she would probably 'phone you again then.

Miss. Edith Sachs also telephoned. She wanted to know the name of the hotel you were stopping at in St. Louis, and of course I gave it to her. She was going to wire you, I believe.

Miss Blum Sachs called me, and quite incidentally (!) inquired about your return.
