We hope very much that you can come as my guest to the opening concert of the New York Woman´s Symphony on Monday, February 18, at 8:45 in Town Hall.

This orchestra of 75 women is conducted by Antonia Brico who made her New York debut two years ago at the Metropolitan Opera House.

Miss Brico has conducted about 70 concerts in and around New York and through the West including Hollywood Bowl and is engaged for 25 concerts in Russia next summer.

To introduce this orchestra the committee and patronesses are inviting a group of music lovers to be their guests at the opening concert.

May I hope that you will be present to give this new orchestra a warm welcome?

Sincerely yours,
Alma Clayburgh
