Dear César,

As per your request I am sending you by Special Delivery first-class mail, the Catalogue of the Copenhagen Exhibition in which the Saint-Aubin was exhibited. It is mentioned under #194, and reproduced on the last page. You will find in the Catalogue the whole description - what you may add is that Dacier considers it as Saint-Aubin's masterpiece in painting, and that the drawing of the seated personage is in the David-Weil Collection.

The price asked for it in Paris is Ffrs. 160,000. - but there is, of course, a certain leeway about this price.

ST.-AUBIN catalogue: It may be that you refer to the original catalogue with the annotations of Saint-Aubin. Therefore, I am sending it to you also by special delivery first-class mail, and I hope you will receive it in good order.

Herein the description and selling price of this catalogue.
