Fiche for Mr. Germain Séligmann
 from Mr. René Seligmann

Having read in the paper that OLIVER O'DONNELL was at the St.Regis, I called him up and learned that MRS. BUDD - whose name had been given me by Frankfurter, as a collector of paintings - was his wife's mother - but that he had never noticed that they had any paintings!

Mrs. Budd is a cousin of Adelaide Monroe.

O'Donnell has been in Aiken all this time and is an intimate friend of SCHUYLER PARSONS. He told me that Parsons was in Newport all summer and was representing Knoedler and Vernay.

Schuyler Parsons told O'Donnell of the letter you wrote him and told him that I was one of his most intimate friends. This last statement contributes to make the whole story extremely amusing - as I haven't seen O'Donnell in five years at least.

HEARST: McGregor has just been in and he telephoned to Hearst in California to describe to him the pearl bag and brooch in the MAUBOUSSIN sale. Hearst bought them over the telephone, and the items are being sent by airmail to California, as he wants them for tomorrow morning.

ELY KAHN: He has asked me to send him the DESAGNAT samples, which I did.

MRS. MAKHAROFF: Didn't come yesterday, but Miss GRISWOLD told me that she would try and bring her in a day or two after Christmas.
