Dear Sir:
The annual performance for the benefit of the French Hospital will be held at the Metropolitan Opera House Saturday evening, January 25th, 1936 at 8:15 p.m.
Bizet's opera "CARMEN" will be given in French with a very brilliant cast including Mesdames Rosa Ponselle, Hilda Burke, Messrs. Giovanni Martinelli, Ezio Pinza, etc.
To insure the success of this year's special performance we need more than ever the support of all our friends and we, therefore, hope that you will, as in previous years, honor us by taking
ORCHESTRA SEATS
for this occasion and may we urge that you endeavor to induce as many of your friends as possible to join us in making it not only an artistic but also a financial success, which means so much to the welfare of the hospital.
We know that, at this time of the year, numorous demands are made upon your generosity but, nevertheless, hope that you will not withdraw your liberal support which is very much needed to help us carry on our charitable work.
Kindly let us know if we may set aside for you the usual reservations for this occasion, which will be held for you until December 26th.
Trusting we may have the pleasure of hearing from you, we are

Respectfully yours,
French Hospital
