believing the articles purchased from you in the usual course of business & not hearing from you after my Tuesdays visit - nor from Waegen, I had to bring this matter to a head as the American Art on my representation were going to have a photo made & put the pieces in their catalogue, properly shown!

I will now have to write them I was in error & I shall also have to get in touch with Waegen & ask him for an explanation.

When I see you again _ as I shall on my return _ I will want to inquire just when this gift was made _ it must have been in 1929 or 1930 I think. [[marginalia]] In re-reading your letter I see it was in 1933! [[/marginalia]]
