FRANCIS TAYLOR - I have wirtten him about the Goujon, Korbeck and van der Weyden.

EXHIBITIONS - Have you any news for me about this? I still think Maillol drawings would be an excellent idea.

PICASSO - I still have on my desk the photograph of the blue Picasso portrait of his friend Sabartes (with pince-nez and mustache) which had been sent over to me by Marie Harriman's office last year. I recall now that I saw this picture at the Petit Palais this summer and I remember that I was pleasantly surprised at finding it a large, beautiful and more striking picture than I had imagined from the photograph. If you or César don't recall it, you might run over there and take a look at it. Perhaps this might be a desirable picture for us to have in stock.

PHILLIPS - Just got César's letter. Do not agree at all that we should wait until Oct. to submit it, as we don't want him to see the whole McIl. show and have every dealer working on what they can get for him. Furthermore, he wired he would take a decision this month. Didn't César read my letter carefully? I'm afraid I have more confidence than you in closing this deal definitely or receiving a check. Please send over the Brame picture so I can get to work.

ABBOTT - Have written again about Chasseriau & Daumier drwgs.

Best wishes & bon voyage

Bob.
