Monte Carlo,
August 16th., 1937.

Dear César:

You see that your short note from Vienna, giving me your change of addresses, has proved useful. Nevertheless I am worried at the thought you did not receive my very lengthy letter re Paul Sachs, addressed to St. Wolfgang. If you have not please do everything in your power to try to get it.

I am leaving here towards the end of this week and shall be in Paris by next Monday.

I have not heard a word from Paul Brame re the Gompel Degas - have you?

With my very best wishes, I am

As ever, your most sincerely,

(Germain Séligmann)

César M. de Hauke, Esq.,
Danielli Hotel,
Venice.

P.S. Prince Krimsky - I have often heard of his collection, but for some mysterious reason have never been able to see it. Please when you come back, make a note to tell me what you have heard about it.
