Paris
August 12, 1937

Dear Germain:

Arrived in Paris late last night and leave for N.Y. tomorrow. Received your letter this morning and am answering in haste and somewhat briefly, as there seems to be noone here to typewrite long letters (and it takes me ages).

Graz - Harrach - I shall try to arrange with F.G. to obtain catalogues. Graz has mostly German pictures I understand. I did not go thru this city.

Shatzker - David - I have not received this or the Brueghel photos. I am writing him on plain paper, giving Guaranty Trust as my address. I do not believe the David to be the famous Comte Potocki (?) (man on horseback) as that picture is owned in Poland. He spoke to me about a straight portrait owned in Hungary.

Maillol Exh. - I spoke to César about this but he sees no money in it. I agree, but nevertheless, I think as
