Austin: (Hartford) met him in Vienna & again here — he bought a Veronese sketch there and two other pictures. Drey, who advised him partially, and whom I ran into, told me he had found and bought lots of things. Austin was with his wife and Agnes Rindge of Vassar — we all became quite clubby.

Graz: I heard from two sources that all the things in the museum there (except German pictures) could be bought!! Don't you think this is worth looking into? Also Harrach?
