MRS. CARTWRIGHT -- Enclosed please find copy of letter received from Gordon Dadds in reference to the claim we have against her.

CREDIT SUISSE -- Tessa's account with them being closed, they request us to return the check-books which they issued. I am enclosing, therefore, the one which we have in New York and would ask you to be good enough to return it together with the one that is in Paris to the Crédit Suisse.

REPAIRS -- We have just run into quite a bit of trouble with the first floor front room where we are now at work. In washing the woodwork, as per your instructions, the paint came right off, and we will, therefore, have to repaint everything which means quite a lot of additional work as it has to be done very carefully. The ground floor is now finished and does indeed look very well. I don't think that the second and third floors will mean so much work and I hope we will be able to finish them before the end of July; while your apartment will have to be done in September.

Very faithfully yours,

O.A.Liechti
