Mr. Haitowitsch's Concert

May 9th, 1938. 

Dear Mr. Seligmann:

We are bespeaking your interest on behalf of the gifted blind violinist, Abram Haitowitsch, who is giving a recital at the Plaza Hotel Ballroom on Tuesday evening, May the Twenty-fourth.  Mr. Haitowitsch has aroused our interest by his wonderful bravery and his inherent talent.  The enclosed leaflet will give you the salient facts of his life. 

We are glad to recommend Mr. Haitowitsch to your interest and believe that in helping him to make this Concert a success, you will have rendered a genuine service. Mr. Haitowitsch has appeared in many of our large cities and has commanded the praise of many artists and music critics.  Both because of his musical attainments and because of his great courage in overcoming his handicap of blindness, we want to make his concert a great success and we are hoping that you will be assist by taking the enclosed tickets.
