May 6th, 1938.

Dear Mr. Seligmann:

We have a call for six 1937 Pontiac cars. If we gave you a very liberal allowance for your car, would you consider trading now towards a 1938 Packard Six, the price of which has recently been reduced $100.00? We will accept your car as down payment and the balance may be paid as low as $25.70 a month.

The 1938 Packard Six, as you perhaps know, is the "car of the year". The only really new car for 1938. The wheelbase has been increased 7", from 115" to 122". It has a larger all steel body, longer, wider, roomier and with individually sprung front wheels like the larger Packards. It's the only quality car in the low price field and, of course, you have heard of its marvelous operating economy.

This is a real opportunity and one that will get you the best "Six" in the would at a lower price than you may ever be able to buy it for again.

Will you allow me to figure out just how attractive we can make the allowance price?

Phone me, or better still drop in to our Salesroom and let me give you the details of how easily you can own a new Packard Six.

Yours very truly,
J. S. McCormack
