Dear Mr. Séligmann:

I am enclosing a letter which arrived from Christie's yesterday, and likewise a letter from Mr. Schiff which reached here this morning. I would have sent letters of acknowledgement for both, but as these are simply acknowledgements themselves, there seemed to be no purpose in doing so.

I also opened the letter from the Commercial Union. The letter from Mr. Liechti I did not open, as it has a very personal air.

I hope that the weather has improved, and that you have been able to commence climbing. It is decidedly cooler here, and yesterday poured "cats and dogs".

With all good wishes,

Yours very sincerely,

(Theresa D. Parker)
