Dear Mr. Liechti:

A letter just received from Mr. Séligmann in St. Moritz, requests me to forward to you the enclosed:

1 - Reconcilement of Account, for the Guaranty Trust Company.

2 - Check for $100., made out to your order, against Mr. Séligmann's personal account on the Empire Trust Co., "to cover - in case he has not enough money - the railroad fare (nothing else) of H. W. to Detroit.

(N.B. The phrase "in case he has not enough money", of course applies to you and not to Mr. Waegen.)

I do hope, and at the same time feel sure, that you are enjoying your vacation, and trust that the effects of the sun, which you were experiencing when I left, have left you.

Yours very sincerely,

(Theresa D. Parker)
