August 16th., 1938

Dear Mr. Peck,

I suppose you are going to be surprised to see that I am in Paris, but here I am, and I'm only sorry I didn't arrive in time to say "hello" to you before you left on your vacation.

Mr. Germain Séligmann has written me a note from St. Moritz (Suvretta Hotel) asking that I communicate to you the following extract from a letter Mr. Liechti has written him:

"Renoir, Clark: Mr. Peck wrote on July 26th., that they had been able to reduce the price of the frame by FFrs.2500. But on the other hand, I never received a debit for this frame, nor for the cleaning of the painting, which I understand was done in Paris".

Mr. Séligmann would like you to communicate with him on this subject, writing him directly in St. Moritz.

Looking forward to seeing you on your return, and with all good wishes for a pleasant vacation,

Yours very sincerely,

(Theresa D. Parker)

Monsieur Arthur Peck,
Hôtel de la Galère,
Theoule (A.M.).
