Dear Liechti:

MORGAN GRENFELL & CO., Ltd., London, have acknowledged receipt of the check of Frs. 50,000., from Balay Carré, and have credited our account with £280.6.2.

HANS WAEGEN: I am today giving Hans Waegen - from an old check book in Paris - Check No. E 93,700, on Morgan Grenfell & Co., for £40.13, for extra travelling expenses for his trip to Europe. This corresponds to $200., to be readjusted if necessary, and I am sending you herein, his receipt which tells the story - $48., having to be reimbursed by him in New York, at the dates indicated on his receipt.

STEPHEN C. CLARK: I really don't understand what has happened there, as Peck has told me several times that he has sent you full details of expenses. Will you, therefore, write Peck a note asking him to confirm to you again that he has sent you every expense related to this transaction, so that you can send Stephen Clark a full statement including our commission, even though he won't take delivery of the picture before September.

I was sorry to hear that you were not feeling well, and do hope that your vacation will do you all of the good that you so much need.
