Dear Mr. Séligmann:

HOTEL: I cabled the Mayfair as you had asked me to do, and they sent a confirmation that a room was being reserved for you. However, you said it would not be necessary to post you by wireless, unless it had been impossible for them to make the reservation. Of course you will have found out all of this before my letter reaches you.

ENAMELLED BOOK COVER - Mr. Milliken has returned the reproduction.

GEIST: The enclosed clipping reports his death.

STEPHEN C. CLARK has given the Metropolitan a Millet painting "Woman with a Rake", according to the Bulletin which arrived yesterday. Perhaps you already knew of this, as Mr. Levy tells me that you already were posted about the museum's purchase of a 15th. Century tapestry "Redemption of Man" which is announced in the same Bulletin.

MR. HAARDT: I 'phoned him and asked him to post you as soon as he would know where he would be stopping in Paris. As you know he is leaving here on the "DeGrasse" on Sunday next, the 19th.

MR. EDGAR: I wired him as you instructed.

MRS LUGE - Am enclosing message which she had sent to the "Ile de France" and which was delivered here yesterday by Western Union.

SAMPLE OF MATERIAL: Susie is under the impression that you had intended taking this sample (enclosed) along with you, and that you were going to order a new tuxedo in London. In any case, we are sending it along.

MR. SUAREZ: Herewith is a copy of letter sent him yesterday, and which, I think, should not only serve him as a reminder but also gives him all information necessary should he prefer communicating directly with you.

CASTANO: We received a few words from him this morning, acknowledging receipt of the Stuarts and saying "I am working on them".

DILLMAN: Mr. Waegen will undoubtedly write you himself, telling you that he has had word from Mrs. Dillman that the commodes are definitely "out", they are of "the wrong period" for either the Detroit or English houses.
