July 27th, 1938

I just received your letter of July 15th.

CREDIT FONCIER - I am sending you their letter in the enclosure as requested, keeping a copy of same in New York for your return.

EMPIRE TRUST CO. PERSONAL ACCOUNT - I take note that you have drawn a check for $300 to the order of Jacques Seligmann & Fils, and a check for $200 to the order of Julius Goldschmidt (as advised by Mr. Peck).

I beg to enclose a fiche received from Mr. de Hauke addressed to Mrs. Parker and myself which is self-explanatory. As I know that all such matters must have your O. K., I would appreciate your authorization.

Before leaving next week, I shall establish a Balance Sheet as at July 31st which I will send on to you.

With best wishes,

Very faithfully yours,

Germain Séligmann, Esq.
