WINSLOW AMES - Sent us another check on account of his purchase of the drawing by Delacroix in the sum of $100, leaving a balance still due of $600.

RECONCILEMENTS - Enclosed please find reconcilement of your personal account with the Crédit Suisse showing a balance in your favor as at June 30th of Swiss Francs 646.- as well as reconcilement of Morgan Grenfell & Co., Ltd. showing a balance in our favor as at June 30th of £903.10.8 which I would ask you to kindly sign and return in the enclosed self-addressed envelopes to these banks.

MR. EDGAR - 
Bought 100 shares Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe R.R. at 37.
Bought 200 shares Spiegel at 14-7/8.

I confirm your cable of July 19th reading as follows:-

INFORM BOB ONLY SOLUTION SANFRANCISCO IS ASKING THEM MAKE OFFER ON EITHER PAINTINGS CONSIGNMENT PRICES BEING COST OR BELOW COST BUT WILLING TO TAKE LOSS

which I communicated immediately to Mr. Levy.

JOHN M. SCHIFF - I received the two Interim Protection Notes which I have carefully studied and found to be in order.  I forwarded one of them, as requested, to Mr. Schiff asking him, at the same time, for a check for the premium due thereon of $783.20.  At his request, I also sent him an invoice for our disbursements to date in the sum of $943.92.

I regret to say that I have not as yet received the copy of your letter of July 2nd to McKay Morant which you mention in your letter of July 7th.

MRS. THORNE - Your letter to her dated July 5th has been forwarded.  I also delivered the Watteau, "Mehemet Riza Bey" to her against receipt.  Regarding the charges - shipping, insurance, etc. - as well as our commission, would you please let me know when to bill her.

RENOIR CLARK - This picture arrived in good condition in New York, and I advised Mr. Clark accordingly.  However, at this writing, I have not received his delivery instructions.  I would also appreciate being advised of all the expenses in this connection in due course which will enable me to send an invoice.

MR. FULDA - I mailed him, as requested, directly to 49 Rue Vineuse, a statement of the running expenses of 3 East 51st Street, of which please find enclosed a copy.

MRS. PARKER - Will sail on the 23rd per S. S. "Champlain".  Please note that she borrowed $50 personally which she explained to me she had to spend for various purchases such as clothes, etc.
