Dear Mr. Séligmann:

MR. WAEGEN -- Prior to his departure, he asked me to forward to Paris the small water color by Géricault, "Etude Pour les Chevaux de Courses Libres" which we have on consignment from Balay & Carré for the sum of $900, and which he is certain he will be able to sell to Mr. Molyneux. I sent it per S. S. NORMANDIE sailing on July 13th by Parcel Post -- cost $2.51.

CRANACH -- This painting is leaving per S. S. AQUITANIA which also sails on July 13th directly to Mr. Chenue in London whom I have instructed to hold it at your disposal. All charges in this connection, I shall debit to the Paris house. Mr. Cochran is extremely anxious to know the results of your negotiations, and he would very much appreciate being advised by cable if you should succeed in selling this painting. May I suggest that you wire me and I, in turn, could communicate with him as at the present time he is at his country estate in North Salem, New York.

PRICE WATERHOUSE - The auditors finished their work on July 11th.

Yours very faithfully,

MR. EDGAR -- Sold 100 shares Youngstown Sheet & Tube at 38.
