Dear Mr. Barbirolli:

How very kind of you to have thought of me! I am much looking forward to hearing your concert on Thursday evening.

It would be so nice if you could have supper with us afterwards. Will you ask your secretary to call me up and let me know whether it will be convenient to you? I am sure you would enjoy the company of the lady who is joining me, and I would be delighted to be able to have a little chat with you.

With personal regards, I am,

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Séligmann)
