March 28th., 1939. Mon cher Ami: Very many thanks for the two tickets to your Box tomorrow evening. I am, as usual, much looking forward to hearing the orchestra under your baton, - the more so as I am convinced that the program will be a lovely one. I so rarely have an opportunity of seeing you that it would make a perfect evening for me if you could have supper with me afterwards. Looking forward to tomorrow evening and hoping that we can spend a longer part of the evening together, I am, Sincerely Yours, (Germain Séligmann) John Barbirolli, Esq., Hampshire House, 150 Central Park South, New York, N.Y. Park Bond RAS CONTE
