March 6th., 1939.

Dear Sirs:

Mr. Germain Séligmann has asked me to let you know that he has had to go out of town and consequently will be unable to attend the dinner being given on Wednesday, March 8th.

He is extremely sorry that he cannot be present, but wishes you to keep the sum which he sent a short time ago in payment for his ticket and credit same to the account from which the expenses of carrying on the work of the League are paid.

     Yours truly,

  Secretary to Mr. Germain Séligmann.
